To ensure we are able to put things rights as soon as we can, please read our complaints procedure below and we will respond promptly to ensure complete satisfaction. As soon as possible after the completion of the works, please inspect the work to ensure everything has been carried out to our usual high standards. Where we are unable to resolve your complaint using our own complaints procedure, as a Which? Trusted trader we use Dispute Resolution Ombudsman for dispute resolution. This policy statement applies to all trustees and employees, and individuals about whom Arktek Group processes personal information, as well as other partners and companies with which the company undertakes it business.
In order to conduct its business, Arktek Group needs to collect and use certain types of personal information about people with whom it deals in order to operate. Arktek Group Limited will, through appropriate management and application of criteria and controls:
observe fully conditions regarding the fair collection and use of information;
meet its legal obligations to specify the purposes for which information is used;
collect and process appropriate information, and only to the extent that it is needed to fulfil operational needs or to comply with any legal requirements;
ensure the quality of information used, including its accuracy and relevancy for the purpose(s) specified;
apply strict checks to determine the length of time information is held;
ensure that the rights of people about whom information is held can be fully exercised under the 1998 Act. (These include: the right to be informed that processing is being undertaken: the right of access to one’s personal information; the right to prevent processing in certain circumstances; the right to correct, block or erase information which is regarded as erroneous);
take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to safeguard personal information;
ensure that personal information is not transferred abroad without suitable safeguards.
In addition, the company takes steps to ensure that:
there is someone with specific responsibility for data protection in the organisation;
everyone managing and handling personal information understands that they are contractually responsible for following good data protection practice;
everyone managing and handling personal information is appropriately trained to do so and is appropriately supervised;
anybody wanting to make enquiries about handling personal information knows what to do;
queries about handling personal information are promptly and courteously dealt with;
methods of handling personal information are clearly described;
a regular review and audit is made of the way personal information is managed;
methods of handling personal information are regularly assessed and evaluated;
methods and performance of handling personal information is regularly assessed and evaluated;

We are aware of our responsibilities relating to OH&S matters throughout our business activities and as such are committed to preventing injury and ill health and to complying with all relevant health and safety legislation, regulations and other health and safety requirements.

Arktek Group Limited (the ‘Organisation’) recognises the importance of environmental protection and is committed to operating its business responsibly and in fulfilment of its compliance obligations relating to the installation of energy saving measures for domestic and commercial properties including domestic and commercial property maintenance service. It is the Organisation’s declared policy to operate with and to maintain good relations with all regulatory bodies.
